Tim Kostas is originally from Boston MA where he jammed with a whole host of top notch bands including Spike The Rhino, The Stump Grinders, UHF and Grip On The Sun. The genres covered by these bands ranged from instrumental surf, to female-fronted power pop, to balls to wall arena rock.
Moving to the Charlotte, NC area, Tim created and played bass for JackRabbit Slim (JRS) and Lounge Fly. JRS was one of the top cover bands in the Charlotte area 3 years running. Lounge Fly - A Stone Temple Pilots Tribute Band, fronted by Tim's talented Son, wowed audiences up and down the east coast from Boston to Atlanta and toured extensively during its short one year run.
Now living the good life in Jacksonville Beach, FL, Tim is excited for the future of Cash In Black!
